Pisces New Moon Ritual

What are you Dreaming?

Can you feel the shift in the air moving us toward spring, blooming flowers, and fresh starts?  We are in a suspended place when our dreams are just about ready to become reality.  Like no other time in the year, the New Moon at the onset of Spring Equinox is a numinous and dreamy end to Winter's slumber into Spring's birth.

Sometimes, after a long winter, we need to work to feel the burgeoning energy. I am currently surrounded by snow, so I drive thirty minutes for what I call a "dirt day," where there is grass, flowers, chirping birds and inspiration for dreams that I want to manifest.  The song De Colores always comes to mind when I crave the vibrancy that colors evoke.

When I lean into the wisdom of nature turning toward a new season, I benefit. It's choosing to follow the current.  Now seedlings of a wish I made to myself at the beginning of the year to open and welcome abundance and fortune are about to be born.

I am very excited to share that I am launching something new and empowering next week. Timed between the New Moon and Spring Equinox, watch for it to land in your inbox on Wednesday, March 13.  I gave birth on Ostara twenty-five years ago and just love to experience the force of creativity this time of year.

Don't you?

The New Moon on March 10 at 1:59am will be in Pisces. When the moon moves through this zodiac sign we can all experience the greatest sensitivity and perceptiveness to our surroundings, life events, and relationships.

Have you ever allowed water to support your entire body? Yesterday I floated in the hot springs with a noodle to support my legs. Could you try to visualize that experience of feeling absolutely supported with ritual? Do you feel ritual can move the needle with your personal transformation? I do. If you agree then consider this ritual below. As always, feel free to modify this personal ceremony as you see fit. The Magick is in you. Rituals and spells are recipes that are meant to be experienced in a very personal way for whomever performs them.

Place a bowl of water under the moonlight on teh New Moon and leave overnight with the intention of absorbing insights needed to make a new start. The next day cleanse your altar with the moon water. If you don't keep an altar, sprinkle the moon water over a symbol for wherever in your life needs a new perspective, fresh eyes, or courage to start something new. For example, on your bathroom mirror, work station, or bed. You can anoint anything that feeds our soul but we may have ignored such as musical instruments, journal, or even the exercise bike that has turned into a clothes rack. Pisces energy inspires us to be compassionate with ourselves as we learn and grow with as much grace as humanly possible.
